Does every box you send out need a label affixed to it? Typically, you have to print all of the labels and then attach each label to a box before it leaves your warehouse. But there’s a better way. With an ALE® industrial label printer, you can print directly onto your boxes, eliminating the extra steps of printing and sticking labels on your boxes.

While you can find plenty of high-quality, high-speed label printers on the market, these machines are expensive and you still have to pay for all of those labels. Printing directly on your boxes or cartons can reduce your costs significantly, as you only have to pay for ink. An ALE® industrial label printer also comes with a lower price tag than most carton, box or label printers.

While there are several different ALE® options, one of the most versatile options can be found with ALE®’s Nano Series printers, which are high-resolution “all-in-one-box” printers. These self-contained printers include a 5-inch display screen, a controller, printhead and ink system all in one machine. Once it arrives at your warehouse, it literally takes just a few minutes to get your printer up and running. You basically put the printer in place and flip the switch, it’s just that easy.

With the Nano Series, you can opt for the Nano18, a side-only printer or the Nano18R, which can provide side printing as well as top, bottom or angle printing. Both coders can print on porous or non-porous surfaces and you print using solvent-based inks or oil-based fluids. The high-resolution coders can provide you with 4-color carton printing, with no ink spreading or fading. As with all ALE® printers, these models work with their Codex Design Software, which allows you to create logos and images as well as layout with all of your necessary data, from batch numbers to bar codes to expiry dates and much more.
